I saw there are many versions of Virtual Dub (like Nandub, Virtual Dub Sync, Virtual Dub Mod, and others) so my question is:
Why are these programs standalone?
Or better, why don't the programmers join togeter and create a new Vdub which has all improvements made in the other versions?
I know it's a stupid question, but I'm quite annoyed that I must use one version for capture, one version for encode and another for multiplex VBR audio ... isn't it better have a new relase with all these improvements?
