Im a little confused about the program dvd2dvd-r. Does it just do the main movie or does it do a complete copy of the dvd with menus and other stuff?

i just downloaded it & will let you know. I read some of the guide looks like you might be able to, but don't take my word for it.quide was in german.. you might have to split the movie.

It only deals with the main movie. It allows you to select/strip subtitles / audio tracks. If not necessary it will not reencode the move. If necessary, it runs CCE and requires you to do a few manual steps in IFOEDIT.

Last time I checked it worked very poorly for NTSC. Not quite sure why but I figure the Germans are more interested in PAL.

I think to preserve the whole movie, you have to use one of Trlight's guide.

It's in the "Advanced DVD Authoring" section

servus...

The programm can "only" the main movie without multi PGC and multi angle and seamless branching.
So you have to decide what angle you wnat and so on.

Chatwalker, the developer see no need for an 1:1 copy.

He likes the main movie in best quality.

NTSC is a problem, because the main tester, who writes the guide, do not have many NTSC stuff for testing.
But since version 1.2.0, NTSC should be possible.
