All these posts about audio delays has got me wondering if people are chasing the right problem. I never have any problems with sync, but I either use the original vidoe/audio, or use ReMPEG2. This makes me think the problem is really altering the time code in the VIDEO stream, not any of the audio streams.
Can anybody with sync problems compare the timecode before and after encoding?

i think your right about it being the video, cause its the video stream that we usually run thru an encoder...I think when the sync is off the whole movie its easier to fix than when its only progressively out of sync...usually the last 1/3 of the movie.

I always encode the movies with CCE and reautorize with Scenarist.
This is why i want to adjust the delay
I can do it in the scenarist, mas itīs easy doing it with an extra program.

The problem I was having with audio delay was attributed to the remuxing of the files. No matter what program I used it came out the same. Always started fine but gradually audio got slower. I was trying to convert my files back to vob's and at the time I thought imgtools was the only way to remux. I tried TMPGEnc, but it would remux to mpg's. Also tried ReMpeg but got really bad video playback. Found authoring in ifoedit worked like a charm. I can't seem to figure out Maestro though. Too complicated for me for right now.
For me, it was the remuxing program. Hands down.
