I have made 2 DVDs with DVDit PE, they've both come out fine. I am trying to make a third and I have ran into some problems. The movie is Harry Potter 2, made from 2 avis, the resulting mpeg is almost exactly 4 gb. When I try to create the DVD iin DVDit, it tells me there is not enough space on a 4.7 gb disc for the project. Why does it do this to me? There is enough room with 700 mb to spare, how do I get the program to accept this and make my DVD?

Make sure you go to audio settings. Change it to dolby digital instead of PCM. That should make the difference.

That didn't do anything, it still claims there isnt enough room, the mpeg file is only 4 GB, that should be 700 mb left over, but it just doesn't work, I dont know why. Anyone else know anything about why it could be doing this? let me be more specific about the source.
THe film is Harry Potter 2. THe original film was in 2 .avi files. I ripped the two .wav files with VDub, then joined them with Besweet. Next I direct stream copied each .avi to a file with no audio then joinned those two files all with Vdub, so I had one .avi file of the film with no audio. I then used Tmpeg Wizzard, NTSC 3MBP CBR to encode the .mpeg with the no audio .avi as the vid source and the .wav as the aud source. The mpeg file that resulted like I said is about 4 GB and it plays flawlessly on the computer. Any help on this would be great.
Thanks all

Make sure you click the UPDATE button on menu under audio when you change it to dolby digital. It should change the amount of space.

Did that, it still says the project size is 5.3 GB. How can this possibly be if the mpeg file is only 4 GB? Also, the size still says 5.3 GB if its PCM or Dolby, and I hit the update button each time I change it.
