Is it possibly to tell DVD Decryptor to use a local Drive, or a Directory, like SmartRipper can ?
I sometimes would like to use dvd decryptor to process files (split, ...) but dvd decryptor only accepts real drives. when i used deamon tools to mount it, that works, but its a little bit stupid to make a image first.
thanks

Instead of perform a 'backup' of the disc to your hdd in the first place, make an image of it using ISO mode. Its not quite so silly then.
But no, it cant work from the hdd. The way in which the program works makes it impossible.

I think I found a way to do this.
Take all the DVD files on your HDD and use them to create an iso disc image. I used GEAR Pro DVD MAstering Edition, but you should be able to use most burning programs. (i.e. NERO etc.)
Then use DAEMON TOOLS to mount the disc image.
DVD Decryptor will then see the disc image as a DVD-Rom drive again, and you can do whatever you want with it.
I hope this helps. Keep us posted.
