View Full Version : What lies behind the credits encoding?

I'm working with AVIs directly in Gordian Knot, and everything works fine but for one thing: if I make two .avs, one for the main movie and one for the credits, Gordian Knot will not find the credits start, it will encode the credits part, and then stop with error messages.
Is there a way for me to fix this manually? Apart from including the credits in the main encoding?

Perhaps you are not properly setting the end-credits start point with the "Set Credits Start" button...
Please post a _Gknot.log file that shows the failure.

I don't have a credits start button to push, since I don't have a preview window when I work with avi's. You have to have a d2v project for that, don't you?

Good point, Hakko. Once again. I misread the first line of the post.
I've never tried to do end-credits encoding without a .d2v project.

The latest release of Gordian Knot now allows for .avi input. This problem should not recur with the new software.
