Overmodulate!!

I have a problem with an audiofile!

The signal overmodulated!

Is it possible to repair it ?

You could make the wave so it's not overmodulated by simply lessening the volume, but that won't regain what was lost. Think of it as drawing lines on a paper that go past the edges. All you have now is the paper. Anything drawn outside it is now lost. But you could possibly normalize it so that it at least sounds the same volume as other samples you might have. Other than that, it's pretty much the quality you have now.
