Log file for 5.02 won't open at all in Gknot

If I do a comp check, then of course it will work...but if I do a full 2pass-pass1 or 2pass-2nd pass(no comp check), then Gknot will not open the log file at all...it does not say "error",it does not say ANYTHING... it just stays blank. Is a log file specially marked during a comp check as to open or what?

Most likely problem: DivX is not installed properly. Test it with Vdub: Start Vdub, select Video...Compression window, and see if 5.02 is in the list of available video codecs.

If it's not there, re-install 5.02.

If it's there, please copy and paste your _Gknot.log file here for further analysis.
