I've got a capture card (Creative) It captures in MPEG2. I use CCE and Spruceup. But how do I convert the audio to AC3 or something Spruceup will reconise so I can put it onto a DVD.

Thanks alot.

SpruceUp recognizes MP2 sound without problems, you don't need to reencode in AC3.

Thanks DJ Bobo for your reply but I rename the audio file as the video file so when I load the video file into Spruce it drags the audio after it, but I get a error message when it try's to drag the audio. Any idea's?

Thanks alot

Hmm... that's weird, it works flawlessly for me.
I guess, those MP2 files from your card aren't standard.
Make sure they are sampled @48KHz.
If not, decode to WAV, resample to 48KHz, reencode to MP2 @ 384kbps for minimal quality loss.

not all DVD players supports MPEG Audio as their audio layer, while Dolby Digital AC3 is always supported.

i believe Bobo knows that. probably he just forgot to mention that...

All PAL DVD players can play MP2.
99% of NTSC DVD players can play MP2.

If it got Video-CD, or the "Compact DISC - Digital Video" logo, it can play MP2 for sure.

I looked over by vcdhelp.com
