Bad resize when I vid capture

I have a Creative video blaster movie maker as my capturing device. When I try to play the captured vid in WMP the lenght of the video is longer than its width & I'm planning to convert it into divx what should I do???

What res are you capturing in? If it's non-square pixels, media Player > 6.4 afaik doesn't respect aspect ratio. Try Start->Run->mplayer2.
