Hi,

I am having great trouble in creating good quality sub-pictures in DVDMaestro.

I am using Photoshop and saving in psd format.

However text seems to be of low quality when imported into Maestro no matter what I try. Sometimes Maestro seems to resize the image for no apparent reason.

Has anybody got a guide to creating good quality menu's, particularly sub-pictures ?

Is there a resolution limit to subpictures which DVDMaestro then resizes.

I am just a bit confused !

Any experts out there :-)

Thanks

Your problem is that you think that you are creating a 720x480 subpicture screen, but you are not (this has something to do with the way PS saves these pictures) - an Maestro isn't properly reading the PS header, so it will resize what it sees as a 200x100 picture to 720x480. The way that I fixed this, was to ensure that I had a 720x480 picture by putting 1 pixel dots at each corner. Now, PS has no choice but to save at my resolution, and Maestro will not try to resize it.

Also, you are creating a new drawing in PS at 720x480 pixels, correct?
