I have realized a SVCD from a DVD with DVD2SVCD and have some problem with the subtitles. If I use the permanent subtitles option all works OK. When I realize the subtitles with CVD option (I have standalone DVD MUSTEK 560) subtitles can be activated with the remote control but they are in Bold character, they seem melted, and therefore is very difficult to read them. How I can make in order to eliminate this problem? Thanks

this problem with the subs is NOT related to dvd2svcd, it is related to the reader, the mustek, my sister have one like this and with the same results you report. i dont know any way to solve this problem , the only work around i know is to use permanent subs. i have read in this forum that some guy solved this problem, i tried to pm him a couple of monthes ago but without any result, ( try the search function with mustek )

Please try to be a little more specific with the tittle in the future. It's not aweful now, but could be better.

Thanks,

I also have a MUSTEK 560.
The solution is simple.
In the Subtitle palette change the third "Primary color 2 (Outline)".
The default value is "black Outline".
Change that to "black"

That should do the trick.
