Does anyone know how to get 5.1 channel playback on a PC when playing SVCD's that were made with DVD2SVCD and I-Author?
I have a Philips DVD Player that recognizes the 5.1 SVCD so I know that I made the disc correctly. But since my Yamaha Receiver doesn't know what to do with the MPEG MC signal (other than play in 2.0 mode) I want to use my PC. Since I am planning on upgrading my receiver at some point I want to go ahead and make all of the SVCD's in 5.1 and just play them on my Home Theater PC for now.
The problem is that I have tried WinDVD, PowerDVD, WMP, etc. (all are the latest versions) but none of them play back in 5.1 mode. Is there a codec out there that I can load that will enable MPEG MC? Maybe a PC video player that does MPEG MC?
