mp2enc.dll for pentium 3

hi all,
i've played a little with mp2enc, and came out with a new compilation.
i'm attaching the new mp2enc.dll .
let me know if you see any difference in speed or quality.

When you say for a P3 do you mean it's for older or newer chips?
I have an Athlon XP could it work better for me or is it meant for older/slower chips?

p3 and newer..
i don't know if it works on athlon..
could you test it ?

I have been using it and I don't have any known issues.
I don't know if it works better, since I never watch my encode and I am just not observent enough to tell.

If it is faster then it's only faster in the transcoding part as it seems just as fast in the determining max gain part.
However like I said I am just not observent enough to be sure.

OK, I've tried it in BeSweet(b8) one time only (for now) and it's OK.
source= .ac3 lenght:14'06"
Destination= .mp2 128kbps CBR Stereo
(All other option=default)

Time result: (ie CCE)
Standard mp2enc = 2'16" (6.2 faster than RealTime)
New mp2enc xPIII= 1'35" (8.9 faster than RealTime)

My PC:
PIV 1.7Ghz
512MB SDRAM 133
HD Raid(0)

i have updated the BeSweet v1.5b8 (http://BeSweet.notrace.dk/beta.html) package to include the new mp2enc.dll .
this should work faster on any machine now (pentium,pentium3,athlon).

i would like to hear more feedbacks about your impression on the speed of the encoding (maxgain seek isn't affected).

I test your page, http://BeSweet.notrace.dk/beta.html and in BeSweet v1.5b11 do not include any mp2enc.dll

I see one new Shibatch.dll, but you don tell nothing about the changes in this file.

mp2enc.dll had now been replaced with tooLame.dll :D
