HI there, i am having loads of problems with gordians knot, i dont realy fully understand the compresibility test.
When the compressibilty test comes back and it is say 0.388, do i have to make the bits (pixel and frame) exactly the same as the compressibilty test to get perfect results?? i find this near inpossible as when i get them as 1, i find the (percentage) at like 91% which is ovoulsy over kill as it states in 1 of the guides. I dont mind putting the movies on 2 cd"s to play on my kiss dp-450 dvd player but 3 Cd"s just seems like to much trouble having to change the disks all the time, plus divx is ment to be able to narrow the size of movies down.
Is it possible to get realy good results say if the test is 0.338 and i set my frame pixel frame at 0.224, in other words how much margin do i have between the test and the pixels.
Any help is most apreciated as all i have is a full up hard drive with all my divx movies fucked up, in other words realy blury.

Edit: this is manono. For some reason, jamie, I can't respond the usual way, so I'll do it as an edit. You want to go by the percentage figure. If it's over 60% or so, it should turn out OK. So 0.224 of 0.338 will give you a good movie. Very strange not being able to respond-never seen that one before.
