Ive made over 250 great avi's from my dvd's but this is the first time in which ive had a problem ripping... im ripping a dvd which probably has an error on it (which i cant manage to clean), are there any rippers that can go 'around' the problem area since it is only like 3seconds of film? i really want to back up this dvd and 3sec of movie time doesnt really bother me... is there a way i can do it or any settings that i can change to make this work??? ive already searched but found nothing on this please help...

thanks for your time!!!!

I don't know if this will work, but try ripping by cell ID and then noting which cell it crashes at and then starting ripping again from after the cell which is damaged. You'll lose more than 3secs, specially if the damage extends over 2 cells, but it should work...

DVD Decrypter can cope with read errors just fine.
