I don't know how to do on following experience. Need your suggestions! Thank you.

I use CCE SP to encode my DV avi PAL with bitrate setting avg/min/max=6000/2000/8000kbps(default for other settings) and got the mpv file with max bitrate=8435kbps at only one second in the middle part. Seems CCE SP exceed the max bitrate setting(don't know why). I have only one audio track which is PCM=1536Kbps. Obviously total bitrate is 10071kbps.

I don't encode it again, but I import them into Scenarist without any more tracks and subtitles and burn a DVD-R without any problems.

My concerns are:
1. Audio+Vedio is larger than 9.80Mbps, why scenaris still accept them?
2. 10.08Mbps is the ceiling of DVD bitrate. what is the difference between 9.80 and 10.08?

The MAXIMUM bitrate for all the elementry streams on a DVD is 10.08Mbps. Of that, the video can not exceed 9.8Mbps. LPCM audio has a maximum BR of around 4Mbps.

From what you have told us, you haven't violated any of the DVD standards, so most authoring programs shouldn't give you any grief (as I believe this is what you already said).
