Hi, I have an Athlon XP 1700+, 521 MB DDR SDRAM, a 30 GB hard disk and a 60 GB hard disk. My capture card is Hauppage Win TV GO. Here's my question.

When I trascode an AVI (352*576 Hffyuv + PCM audio) using CCE I can see that with my system I go faster than real time (using 1 pass VBR with CQ). I can see that also when I frameserve a segmented AVI (using some filters like resize and cropping) to CCE I can do it at real time speed.

So, is it a way to capture directly from my TV card to CCE using a frameserver (like avisynt or virtual dub?).

I know there are some softwares that allow me to direct capture to MPEG 2 but CCE gives me the best MPEG 2 quality I have ever found.

Thanks
