What is DTV?
It is possible to copy any mpeg2 DVB stream, but I dont' have the slightest idea what you mean by "DTV".

alkasecond, you are probably talking about "digital TV", better DVB (Digital Video Broadcast).
There are quite a few apps available that can save the MPEG-2 transport stream directly to an MPEG-2 file, like the Technotrend software or WinDVBLive2000. But I would not recommend that: better record to PVA file format, then use PVAstrumento to correct errors and convert to an MPEG-2 program stream.

Sorry, I should give more info.
DTV = direct tv, I know you can do it if you have ultimate tv receiver.
The question is , is it possible to hack into regular dtv receiver,
and get at mpeg2 stream?
thanks
