This is mainly a bugfix release.

[VirtualDubMod 1.4.12.1]
Belgabor:
- Some Script Editor related bug fixes
- Added AviSynth 2.07 Keywords

Cyrius:
- Merged with VirtualDub 1.4.12.
- Special support added for XviD B-frame mode.
- Quick bug-fix for problems (blue tinted clips) when recompressing a DivX video (DivX 5 codec).
- Fixed bug showing a wrong progress status in the Job Control window
- Fixed a bug crashing VirtualDubMod when trying to demux a non-Ogg/AC3/MP3/SRT stream from
an OGM file.
- OGM streams can now be demuxed (Demux) or saved to a WAV file (Save to WAV) in the
"OGM inputs" window. The WAV header is not added for Ogg/SRT streams however.

Enjoy :)

Am I missing something?

I can successfully read and edit mpeg2 captures on a Pentium 3, but on my Pentium 4 I get odd results: the same ones you get when you select 64bit SSE2 MMX as your iDTC algorithm to create your D2V project in DVD2AVI and you try to read it within avisynth using the original MPEG2DEC (without the SSE2 implementation): a grey background with some colored dots in a regular pattern.

In fact, the d2v files generated by VirtualDubMod 1.4.11.2 and 1.4.12.1 (I didn't try any previous one) are exactly the same except for the line "iDCT_Algorithm=5" in the P4 and "iDCT_Algorithm=2" in the P3.

Is there a way to manually select the iDTC algorithm to be used in VirtualDubMod?

BTW: I can't load these d2v files (generated by VDmod) using mpeg2dec2 into avisynth. It pops-up the message: "Avisynth open error: unrecognized exception" !?

Are the b-frame XviD issues gone with Virtualdub 1.4.13 too or should I switch to Virtualdubmod for the moment? I mean I have both versions installed actually.

Thanks! To tell you the truth, to be safe, I was using your mod version today... It's good to know that both are 'safe'.

Hi, I just want to mention a bug.

I have loaded up my avi (direct stream copy) an ogg file as audio and 2 subtitle files (srt).

The multiplexing works fine but if I want to split the ogm file in 2 pieces the "jump to keyframe" command jumps to the wrong part. I selected jump to 695 MB and it went to 865 MB... weird...

My mistake, I had the signature off in vbulletin. I am sorry again. Thanks for your wonderful work.

To belgabor:
It'll be useful to add in the new version the nandub option "shutdown when finished" it was a very useful option, if you can, it'll be useful to set it even in the job control windows so that after doing all the job, virtualdubmod will turn off the pc.
What you think about?

:D

As I mentioned somewhere on the everwicked forums, this one is already in and will be in the next release. (Went in when cyrius assimilated the NET mod)

I just have a quick question about the vdubmod, I have the latest version 1.4.12.1 and all the needed dlls but for some reason when I try to import ogg audio into my video file it will not do it. I know that there is probably a really easy solution to this problem I probably put the dlls in the wrong place or something, but the under audio where you import the ogg audio it is all greyed out, needless to say this is really annoying. This wouldn't be a problem except I have save the video as an ogm so I can't just mux in oggmux. If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful, thanks.

If you want to add Ogg Vorbis audio, you must aim for an OGM file in VDubMod. In this case the better way to add streams (Vorbis, AC3, MP3, SRT) is to use the 'OGM -> Show inputs' window.

Otherwise you can use your video OGM in OggMux : just rename it .AVI and load it in the 'Movie' field of OggMux. (OggMux uses DirectShow to open the file, it is just OggMux which let you choose only .avi files)
