Since yesterday evening I've been getting unhandled exceptions (user breakpoint, int 3) and heap errors when debugging through either WMP or VirtualDub. This happens with both .avs and .avi files.
I get four exceptions on startup, and two on shutdown.
Looking at the output below, it looks to me like dciman32.dll might be the culprit, since the four startup exceptions occur after dciman32.dll is loaded (and the plugins, but I think that's
coincidence) and the two after dciman32.dll is unloaded.
I'm not sure where that dll comes from, so I'm unsure whether I should, for example, reinstall DirectX or my video drivers. I'm also not sure why it has suddenly started doing this.
If anyone can shed any light on the matter I'd be very grateful.
