ok, I have some source footage that I wish to make smaller clips from. so I load the source footage video into virtualdub (through an AVS) and I load the WAV file for the audio (has a -66 ms delay). Now, I make in and out points and delete all teh footage that I do not want for that particular clip. when I save the avi (using huffyuv) the audio is completely unsynched. I think that when I did the in and out points, the only applied to the video and not the audio. how cana I make the in and out points apply tp both ther audio and video streams? thanks!

I would think on way would be to load in your video clip, set up your wav audio with interleaving values and delay and then save the whole thing as another avi. Check that the audio is synced in the new file then load it up into virtualdub, set you start (home key) and end (end key) and save that out to a 3rd avi. It should then be ok.
I know also with divx etc you have to cut at keyframes to get audio sync to work. Hold the shift key while scrolling to mark your start/end points...
Cheers,
Arkay.
