I'm using WinTV with avi_io (picvideo or huffyuv) and recently I took a time to work with Windvr. I also want to gain maximum from mpeg2 encoding settings and I'm a bit confused with GOP & Motion vector settings under Video profile with windvr 2.
Default settings for GOP info panel are: GOP: 6 and Sub GOP: 3 and for Motion vecto panel: Horizontal:2 Vertical:2... how to tweak these to gain maximum quality mpeg2 capture?
I also have some problems with custom (e.g. 352x576 or 480x576) capturing resolutions with windvr 2... I always get 720x576... any idea?
