Hi everyone!
I usually rip my DVDs by splitting the original DVD-9 into two DVD-5, as explained in the excellent guide "Copying a DVD-9 to 2 DVD±Rs" (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/ifoedit-2dvdrs.htm) .
I never re-encode movies.
If I try to use the same procedure with a multiangle movie (like SnowWhite") or a seamless branching movie (like "Rocky Horror picture show"), the resulting movie "glues" together the different angles (or the different branched scenes).
I've read the other messages on this forum and the guides on the Doom9 site, but they're quite complex, because they explain how to RE-ENCODE a seamless branching movie.
Is there a less complex way to keep ALL the original content of the DVD (including the Director's cut or whatsoever) without re-encoding them? How should I set the options in IfoEdit's "Split to 2 DVDs" panel (especially those concerning Ilvu/Angle pointers)?
