hello...,

this question is not only for CCE Users, but I think most of the CCE Users care about these questions...

My problem:
I want to encode an old movie ("Feuerzangenbowle" by the way).
It is not really b/w but sepia coloured.

My goal is to keep it on one CD (800 MB/90min.) and the movie lenght
is ~ 92min. - to make it even worser: Itīs 4:3!

So after cropping overscan regions and scale it to SVCD or CDV (PAL)
and encoding the sound with only 128 kbit (Itīs only mono) the only thing that could have an impact is the matrix (...yes of course -> also filters like temporal smoother will have an impact on compressibility).

Any suggestions?

thx
