I’m ripping at the moment the serie’s of Band of Brothers….ripping of the 2 eposide’s dvd’s is quite simple but the burning of these episode’s gives me some sleepless night’s…….

Bought 50 That’s Right DVD-R and burned the first episode to it (with Nero) wanted to play in my stand alone MHC-ZX70 (sony) player but it wont worked.
In my PS2 played it fine ?????? strange he….
Burned first episode with GearPRO nope no result (but in PS2 oke) I’m getting pretty angry…..
Burned first episode with ImgTool nope no result (but in PS2 oke) My head was at the point to explode…..
Burned first episode with RecordNow (that comes with the SonyDRU500A) as a Datadvd and its plays in my standalone…….at least…..
Burned episode 2,3,4,5 all plays fine but now it comes….. burned episode 6 and it wont play anymore…………….I’m freaking out here……let my join the Band of Brothers and I will kill all the BAD GUYS……frustrated I AM…

Now I was checking the episode 6 with ifoedit and try to play the dvd but then ifoedit said the following * No valid DVD-Video volume could be located…..could this be the problem ?????

Need help here...

No this isnt the same problem... All that mean's is that you have no disc in the drive currently...Just press ok and it should tehn play the movie off you HD

I recently split up band of brother, and it was the easiest thing I have done.

Here is my method:

-Rip with DVDDecrypter in "FILE MODE" rip all the files to my HD
-Open up the proper .IFO, and use VOB EXTRAS to "Strip VOB-ID's"
-Strip the stream of the episode you don't want to keep, and go
-Copy the "Field Guide Manual" to the directory where you split them disc
-Do a "CORRECT SECTORS"
-Burn with PRIMO DVD

They all work perfect, everything is there (DTS, Field Guide, etc). If you select an episode that isn't on the disc, it just sends you back to the menu.

I think i found my problem.....

When i make the map AUDIO_TS i didn't use the Caps lock (just the shiftbutton).
The last 2 episode's (9&10) i just the caps lock and i also made a map called JACKET_P and now the DVD are working just fine in my standalone........Strange isn'it......:D

BTW....SWEATDOG i didn't strip anything just split them......

Wanderance....

When I try your method, IFOEdit (.99) says that "VOB file is unvalid, it doesn't start with a NavPack."

(Bnd of Bros disk 1). I am using strip VOB ID's under the VOB extras method....

Is this was you were using? I would like to try your method...

Hey guys, here is an update. I ended up using wanderdance's method to split my copy, and I have explained the procedures in a bit more detail.

If you want to check it out, I posted it here:
