Help needed to change Region 2 Pal DVD to NTSC Region 1

I've got a Pal Region 2 DVD movie that I'm trying to burn to DVD (NTSC Region 1)

I've ripped it to HD. Changed the video attributes to NTSC in the check boxes.


Removed RCP...but Ifoedit says "no RCP found"
BTW .the prepared files plays fine in Ifoedit on my compter. Seems as if it is ready to burn.

So I burn to DVD..

After burning to DVD, my DVD rom player still is asking for me to change it's Region to 2
Seems the burned DVD is still in region code 2...I need region 1

So, the question is, IS it possible to take a Region 2 pal DVD and burn it to DVD for NTSC region 1

Any help on this or suggestions?
