Have used CCE to create an m2V file and DVD2AVI to produce ac3 file.
Didn't bother with any subtitle changes using VobEdit
Used the updated procedure on Doom9.org to author the DVD with IFOedit. This creates my VOB files, IFO files, BUP files without error.
Did Get VTS Sectors - but...
When I burn it to a DVD, it won't kick-off in my standalone player. Everything works OK in my PS2 though with Audio in sync etc, chapters are all there.
I have the same problem when I use DVD Maestro to author.
Anyone have a solution - I dont want to go back to ReMPEG again.

Thanks,
Garnett

If it works in a PS2 then there is definately no compatability issues....it is fine... Whats your standalone player ??

Thanks for the Reply.

The thing is my other IFOEdit ReMPEG creations work in my Standalone (Marantz 4100). But anything I create with CCE and DVD Maestro won't.

The thing about the PS2 is it is more forgiving than some players - for instance it will still play if all the VOBs are not there.

I am going to try to create new IFOs with IFOEdit from the authored VOBs and see if that works.
