Hi everyone
I need to know what are the best configuration with ReMpeg2 to obtain the max quility
I dont i use the check "limit max bitrate", is this important?
Please help me becuase i am having problems with some movies that after encoding with Rempeg2 the video is pixelated and jumpy in some parts of the movie.(Attack of the Clones, Hannibal , Windtalker,)
Any help will be apreciate

Read the associated 'readme' file that comes with the prog, I found this useful for advising on best quality, although when I use it takes around 20-24 hours.
Default settings provide a decent result for me.
I tend to have more success with PAL than NTSC where I suffer pixelation and some picture jitter as per my post earlier today.

I just check the Rempeg2 readme file and find this
"if you experience of some frames at a fixed interval
you can try to adjust the "bit allocation adjustment" sliders.
These allow you to raise the amount of bits reserved for every
type of picture (I, P and B). By default the I slider is set to
110% (P and B to 100%), meaning that more space will be reserved
for the I pictures since scaling all picture types down by a
fixed factor will most likely result in jerky I frames.
These settings do NOT affect the resulting average bitrate.
Once these settings are applied, everything is adjusted to meet
the average bitrate again..."
According to this text i need to change vale to the I frames....i think
So what value can I use to prevent jerkiness ?
