Hi,
I am trying to make a backup copy of Moulin Rouge the NTSC version, although I am ending up with a flickery result.
Basically the picture shimmers, it would appear to do it twice a second.
With ReMpeg2 I have tried Match Source instead of Progressive, I have tried Reference DCT instead of Integer, and Full instead of Prediction and combinations of these with no success, same result everytime.
Has anyone seen this before and can anyone offer any suggestions?
Thanks
Rob
Addition: The movie seems to start off okay, i.e no flicker, the flicker comes later. Also I have done many PAL backups and they're all perfect, yet this NTSC and another suffer from pixelation which is quite severe in places, and also corruption, i.e. coloured blocks. Thought this was worth mentioning.
Addition2: The procedure for my ripping is SmartRipper > ReMpeg2 > SpruceUp > Prassi
