Hi there,

I have been running ifoedit to strip out Audio, Subtitles and menus etc and then re-encoding with CCE and finally remuxing with ifoedit again.

I was reading about have to pulldown on an NTSC film of 23.xxx fps which my film is, but I thought this was only necessary if using a program like maestro etc.

Can anyone confirm if pulldown needs to be also run if used with ifoedit when remuxing?

Thanks in advance for any advice or comments

Regards

Ian

It's always necessary if you encode at 23.976. IfoEdit won't complain if you don't do it, but once you play the disc you'll see that something is wrong.. video won't be fluent.

doom9 is that why my movies are jumpy and sometimes pixelated in spots?

thanks for the confirmation... had some real hassle trying to get things working the cce and ifoedit ... and notice other people are too..

So I switched to DVDmaestro and cce and everything seems ok now

Thanks again

@bgates: please start a new thread next time, this is really completely off topic. The media you're using isn't fully compatible with your player. Either it's cheap media (that's most often the cause of such problems) or your standalone doesn't fully support DVD-Rs (I happen to have such a player, has problems with all but Verbatim DVD-Rs).
