ok, first of all, im new here - hi!

second, the 5-day-rule sucks!! i do understand the reason but it still sucks :)

anyway, now that i can finally post i hope to find an answer to my (newbie-)question here:

i'm encoding to mpeg-2 (for a svdc), splitting a divx-avi into two pieces to get a quality svcd (using tmpgenc v2.58.44.152). encoding of the first half works fine. on the second half i get an error at 78%, everytime; it says
"Result: Index of scan line is out of range (416)"
when i retried encoding, i added some frames at the beginning, or used a keyframe, nothing works.. :(

i found more than 10 threads on exactly this topic at another board, but no one seems to b able to answer this question..

so i thought i'll try it here, where the pro's r :D ;)

thanks a lot in advance

Welcome to the forum (where the pro's r :D )!
1.Try to convert the whole divx file.
2. For me seems that the credits are encoded in the divx with diferent bitrate than the actual movie (like Gordian Knot deal with) and after that both files are merged. Probably TMPG doesn't like the joint point.
