I have Pioneer A104 DVD-R, and when I copy DVDs using DVD Decrypter/IFOEdit
method everything works fine on DVD decks from Sony, Samsung, Pioneer,
Thomson and Quadro (all my friend's decks). But it does not work with Aiwa.
Aiwa says "Check disc".

Then, I tried with DVD that fits on 4.3GB using direct copy (DVD Decrypter ISO
Read + DVD Decrypter ISO Write). That DVD-R WORKS on Aiwa!!

So, I tried to find out what was difference between two discs. After couple of
tries, finally, I added dummy VIDEO_TS.VOB on first disc (created with IFOEdit),
and this time it worked on Aiwa also.

Does anyone knows EXACTLY what is going on here?

Yes the VIDEO_TS.VOB is the reason same thing with PS2 I “believe”, I don’t think it will DVD’s with out menus VTS_01_0.VOB either...not 100% sure..

Just for the record Aiwa, sucks...............!!!! I’ll never buy Aiwa
product for the rest of my life......!

I took mine back......................! 30 day return policy...YEP!

My suggestion to people thinking of buying a new DVD player.
Make sure your backups disks play before purchasing...............!!!!!
