Allow me to recommend DVDXCopy to everbody out there. I got hold of the beta version of this program and couldn't be happier with it.
If all you want to do is copy a DVD, this is what you need. It rips, splits, and burns DVD's for you. You can select the individual title sets and the split point if you prefer. You just have to live with a "DVD backup" disclaimer at the start of each disc. It also inserts a "Insert Disc #2" message at the end of the first disc. I have an HP200i and burned several DVD+R's that wouldn't play in my standalone JVC DVD player. Every one of the discs I've burned with DVDXCopy have played perfectly. So give it a try, and no I don't have stock in the company.

Yep.
Or forget business companies who acquired technologies from here and other forums, for free, seeling back what they learned from us.

And buy dvdsplit from Derrow who did the magic tool Ifoedit.

Or use Ifoedit + Imgtool for free.

And, this DVDXcopy is perfect for X movies ( :-) ), but you can't get menus, multiples audio stream or sub, do you ?

Sorry. Was a bit too much agressive.

It's a commercial product, we prefer freewares/Donateware here

I have both DVDX copy and the freeware(DVD Decrypter, Ifoedit, dvdspit). DVDXcoppy is rough, but shows promise. Nice tool for people that just want to backup and burn without a lot of techie info. Freeware tools are nice, but the dbdsplit does not work yet. I have post in another forurm, and several users are having trouple using dvd split. It seams when it splits there are some neccessary missing form disk 1. I have emailed derrow, but have not received a responce yet. Just a little fyi.

Derrow is working for 321 Studios the developers of DVDX copy now and refining it for them.if you have any questions of him you might try the forums associated with 321 studios as he posts somewhat frequently there

im another big fan of dvdxcopy just for the fact that its easy and its one of the only programs that makes readable discs for me...and now that derrow is on team, the product will only get much more complex and better suited to our needs. freeware was fun for a while, but does not produce consistant results for everyone. jmo
