Problem with the source

Hi,

I capture vcr with my Miro PCTV card. I use virutalDub 1.4.11 sync (the last one) and huffyuv 2.1.1 ccesp patch 0.2.2. I don't have problem to capture original tapes like "Ice Age" but I have problem to capture recorded tapes. I miss a lot of frames, too frames. What can I do to resolve this problem?

i don't know exactly how much cpu intensive huff is,but i know
it looks funny("unregistered" VD drops) if i exceed 704 in horizontal
way.......
picvideo mjpeg has no such problems on 720....
(cel600 system)

also i've noticed wdm programs are more resilient to noise than
vfw ones..........
with "ATV2000" i can capture stuff i couldn't dream capturing in vfw (VD
or AVI_IO)
some rather noisy VHS' etc.

but atv2000 doesn't do exact segmentation(FAT32 here) so i can use it only for shorter clips etc.

mjpeg as a capture-codec for atv2000 too...
