Frameserving problems with CCE

I've been doing the "DVD2AVI VCD & SVCD Guides" > "CCE Guide". When frameserving with VDub i enter a name for the frameserver, then when promted to save a *.vdr file i just type in "abc.avi".

When moving on to the encoding with CCE step it says i should load my input file, but when it try to load "abc.avi" CCE just crashes.

Anyone know what im doing wrong? Had this problem? Know how to fix it?

Im using win2k and CCE 2.50.01.00

I would first try either initializeing, or de-initializeing the avi handler in virtual dub...try it both ways...

I just solved it... altough not with your help... :p

I did like every dumbass should do before posting here... I red the FAQ post in this forum...

I had to enable compatibility mode in win2k and run in a diffrent compatibility mode.

Altough i have another problem now (they never seem to end).
