Hello,

I have problem with subtitles in Ifoedit. I use Linux for ripping and for MPEG2 encoding (using transcode tool) - I encode only video to m2v format, the audio I let untouched in AC3. There is no problem with this video and audio, IfoEdit creates correct VIBs, IFOs etc., but I have problem with subtitles.
I use the tool tcextract (part of transcode) to rip out the AC3 audio and also the subtitles tracks. Unfortunatelly the subtitle tracks are slightly different as those which I get with VobSub and when I add them to Ifoedit, the subtitles does not work.
Please, I attached those two subtitle files (one extracted with tcextract, the second with VobSub) - can anybody explain me, why are they different ?
And, I would like to please Derrow - is possible to add support for those subtitle format to some newer version of Ifoedit ?

Thanks in advance for any answer,

Xpersian.

your attachments worked fine.. they just need to be validated by a moderator first.
However, I'm afraid I can't validate subtitles as subs are copyrighted material (see rule6). I understand you wish Derrow to see these subs, try to contact him privately and I'm sure you can resolve the issue.
