I have an svcd bin/cue file. Which I mount in Daemon tools, and then conduct a disc-to-disc copy in NERO. Unfortunately, NERO will not burn the "virtual cd" on my 700 mb/80 min cd-r because the file is 80:02---two seconds too long :(
Any ideas on how I can burn this file? Thanks in advance!

You may be able to "overburn" your CD-Rs.
Put a blank CD-R in your burner.
Select the Nero CD Speed application. (Start...Programs...Ahead Nero...Nero Toolkit...Nero CD Speed)
Run an Overburning test. (Extra...Overburning Test. Click on the Start button)
Record the time of the overburn. (Example: 81:56.73).
(The blank CD-R that's still in your burner is still blank, and can still be used.)
Start Nero.
Select "Expert Features" tab in Preferences (File...Preferences)
Check "Enable Overburn 'disc at once' burning"
Set the maximum CD length from your test. (Example: 81 56 73).
----
In order to enable overburn, the burn mode in Nero (on the "Burn" tab) must be set to "disc at once" mode. This mode cannot be used for multisession data discs.
Rerun the test and reset the time whenever you change CD-R products.

You could also try another brand of CDs. Different brands can usually contain a little different amount of space.

That's why I recommended rerunning the test whenever different media is used.

I thought it would come to overburning. I haven't done if before, but I guess I'm overburning by a small amount (2 seconds).
I have two brands of discs Smartbuy (manufactured by Prodisc) and Mr. Platinum---I know people have overburnt with the smartbuy (this one guy told me he got 805 mb in mode 1 :D) Any idea which brand is better to overburn with?
BTW should I just change the time from 80:00 to 80:03 (to overburn the 80:02 minutes long movie?)
Thanks for all your help :)

No, Worldbook. Run the test, as I have outlined. Every CD-R media manufacturer does things a little differently. The test will examine the media and give you a specific size. It only takes a couple of minutes to run the test, and doesn't affect the media. Since many "store brands" are private labelled from who-knows-what manufacturer, and the manufacturer can change with little or no change to exterior labelling, I recommend re-testing every time you open a new package of media.

The overburning test reveals the capacity of my cd disc to be 81:35.65 (+1:45.65).
Since I only have to overburn by 2 seconds, what would length should I specify in the "overburning" dialog box?
Thanks again :)

81:35.65 - that's the maximum with that particular media.

However in the overburn tab should I set the time limit to the maximum: 81:35.65
or say would this be acceptable 80:03?
Is there any advantage/disadvantage to overburning at the maximum value?

The test gives you a maximum capacity of your media. The setting in Preferences is the maximum that Nero will allow. Burning beyond the reported size of the blank media (e.g.: 79:57.73) will require overburning enabled in Preferences, and Disc-at-once mode.
Nero requests a maximum capacity to avoid damaging media (or recorder).
I recommended that you re-test each time you switch media, and use the value from the test as the maximum in Nero Preferences. That remains unchanged.
Please let me know how I may possibly clarify this for you further.
