I have tried to search and read the FAQs of course, but I can't seem to find an answer. If I missed it please point it out.
I have downloaded a Divx 3 file and media player says it's an invalid format. I checked it with Avicodec and it says it's a Divx 3 file. I then tried to use Divx fix and it keeps coming up with an error at a certain point in the file. I then loaded it in Virtual dub and used the search for bad frames. It finds one at 17 thousand and something and says this frame is bad, but the rest beyond it are fine. I then tried to delete that frame within virtual dub and it says "error decompressing file, data corruption? error -100".
It seems that there is one bad frame and it is screwing the whole file up. Is there anyway to remove or fix that one frame and get the file to work again?
I have downloaded it several times from several sources and all get this error.
Thanks,
Mark
