Is this possible?

I've read through this forum for about 2hrs now & the only method I've found involves keeping the movie only.

The dvd I want to split contains documentaries, trailers, deleted scenes, interviews etc......

Is it possible to keep all these when splitting.

Sorry If i've asked a question thats been answered before. But I really cannot find a guide for this anywhere :(

Are you refering to this guide?

http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/ifoedit-2dvdrs.htm

because it only explains how to split the main movies. It doesn't explain what to do with the other extra movies.

Unless i'm not reading it correct ?

That is the right guide. It also speaks about extras, if you read the example it splits the film (VTS_02_xxxx) but puts the other titlesets only in one dvd (the extras).

"As written before you must now add the first titleset to both discs. In our case that's VTS_01_0.VOB, VTS_01_0.IFO and VTS_01_0.BUP. since VTS_01_1.VOB is small I put in on both discs too but normally you would put extras on one disc only. Then we need VTS_02_0.VOB on both discs. Last but not least the extras (VTS_03 - VTS_07). I put all these files on the 2nd disc."

I know, also for me it was not so clear the first time, I found some 'information hiding'. I've found to be more clear the guides you can find in derrow site. I've found a link to these guides is in his site: http://www.incase.de/files/IfoEdit-guides.zip

One thing I find helpful is look in the main movie folder you ripped. After the files that you need for just the main movie (VTS 1, etc) click on the other files (2, 3, 4,, 5, 8 so on, I use Power DVD to run movies on my PC) and write down which one's are the "extras" to copy over to your Disk, I put all extras on Disk 2. Hope this helps...
