return to root menu after splitting

I have splitted a film in 2 dvd-r, but now after playing the first dvd-r the film stops on the last frame. How can I make it return automatically to root menu?

plz, also if someone has no idea about it I'd also like to have a link where to understand what the player reads after playing a titleset. For return to root menu I've tried to change VTS_PGCITI/VTS_PGC_1 post command, but no success.
