Hi!
For reference, I am using Windows 98SE with a Tbird 1ghz.
The problem occurs with at least these versions of ffdshow (and maybe more):
2002-09-23.
2002-10-10.
2002-10-29.
2002-11-13.
However, the 2002-06-17 version works fine.
The problem is "spontaneous jerky playback":
On some DivX files (mainly 3.11), at a precise moment, the video becomes very jerky. Pressing the spacebar twice (to pause and restart) makes the jerkiness go away instantly.
My guess is that a piece of code has been introduced in the newer ffdshow versions and that my DivX files don't like it very much.
Still, I would love to be able to read WMV1 files, but I can't since it wasn't implemented yet in the 06-17 version.
Any ideas, solutions,... anything ?
Thanx
