I am trying to create a DVD composed of short films in Quicktime format. I was able to use dumpster.exe to edit the moov - nsav so I could remove everything but the main movie and the soundtrack. My problem is that the movie is 720x300 and at 24fps. I can encode to an elementary stream MPEG directly from MOV using CCE but it has no options to add borders or correct framerate so I'm not able to import in an authoring program. I also fear that using pulldown.exe on the video after encode will cause sync problems with the audio.

I imagine something can be done with AviSynth but I have no idea where to start. If someone has done this before I would appreciate an easy method!

I did this recently with some bmwfilms movies, what I did was export
from Quicktime(full version) to uncompress AVI and
frameserve with virtualdub using the smart resize filter.

TMPGEnc has a Quicktime plug in which works. I used it to create my own miniDVD of BMWfilms The Hire series (including The Follow).

Thank you Eric. That was just what I needed!
