:( I use dvd decrypter, IfoEdit & Rmpeg I can sucessfully make perfect backups when say the vob sizes are in order like this
VTS_05_1.VOB - 1048 size
VTS_05_2.VOB - 1048
VTS_05_3.VOB - 1048
VTS_05_4.VOB - 1048
VTS_05_5.VOB - 1048
VTS_05_6.VOB - 670

But when they are in this order, as in a smaller vob in the middle of the gig vobs like this, the final product looks like a bad vcd

VTS_05_1.VOB - 1048
VTS_05_2.VOB - 1048
VTS_05_3.VOB - 360
VTS_05_4.VOB - 1048
VTS_05_5.VOB - 1048
VTS_05_6.VOB - 670
Can anyone help me I know its probably some thing really dumb Im doing but a lot of my favourite films are like this, answers appreciated.

Usually when there's a layer break they start over with the 1024MB files. So it's probably a layer change. I use the same method for any disc and I never have a problem. IFOedit, strip everything. DVD2AVI, demux 1 track, CCE and GearPro DVD.

the only thing I do when I have created my .m2v file with rmpeg is strip everything and then after that get my new vectors. Should I remux the .m2v as well.
