Wondering the easiest way or a walkthrough of how to capture just a small segmant of a DVD movie.
I would like to be able to record say 20-30 seconds of movie and make into an mpeg.
Thanks for any help ^_^

Why capture? Do it the digital way! That means, decrypt the DVD to hard disk (DVD decrypter), then use your favorite program to convert it (use the build in player or preview to find your part). Alternatively you can use Chopper XP to cut out the VOB, so you even have the original quality...

True true. I already have the VOB's on my HDD. But i'm stuck there. Don't have any programs to convert the VOB's to Mpeg. You say Chopper XP will cut out small parts of the VOB's, ill give that a try. Perfect that sounds awesome.
Is chopper XP shareware? You know where i can get it?
Thanks again for the help.
