I , like I am sure alot of other people here, have a dedicated PC for watching movies on my main TV. I was just wondering if anyone had any cool User Interfaces being used on that PC, like Microsoft's Media Center Edition's main page that is designed for televison viewing. I use X10's mouse remote from across the room to access this computer and it is a little hard to read when flipping thru files in Explorer trying to find the movie I want. I know I can increase the font and window sizes but I wanted to see if there were any cool UI's out there.

Thanks,

Have you considered Showshifter (www.showshifter.com)?

It works with DVDs, AVIs and MP3s. The UI has been specially developed to work on a TV, and with a remote control if you have one.

It also allows you to watch/pause/record live TV if you have a TV card. Showshifer isn't free, but it is cheap.

Cheers,

Paul
