Ok. I captured a 48min 20.2gig AVI file using ATI All In Wonder card and Virtual Dub. The settings in Virtual Dub are: Huffuv,720*480, 29,97fps, PCM 448000 Max audio. At first there was no fram dropped but about 20min or so frames started to drop really fast....why ??? When I stop capturing at 48min, my "dropped frames" are up to ~~2500-3000...??? Why is that ?? It only started to drop around 20 min into the movie.... I think because of that drop frames that's why my video plays kinda slow with WMP/PowerDVD ??? And beacuse of that, my audio is out of sync. like 1 or 2 sec behind the video....??? What should I do know...?? change my codec ? change to another capture software ?? turn off previewing while capture?? boost up fps from 29,92 to something higher to solve the "slow video"?? Or just capture like 20min each file to solve the "drop frames"??? PLEASE HELP>>>!!!

The use of capital letters and !!! or ??? in titles is barred by forum Rule #9. Please change it, and don't do it again.

you should have the second box in huffyuv set to convert to yuy2.

you may need to defrag your hard drive, or try norton speeddisk
