I wish to make a VCD of my movies created in 3D Studio Max. Can anyone tell me which format and resolution is best suited for this. Moreover after the rendering is over, should I directly proceed for burning it or there is some other step in between. What is the difference between PAL and NTSE VCD which is more videly accepted ?

PAL is used in europe, australia and some other countries

NTSC is used in america, japan and some other countries

But what about the resolution or the format in which I should first render my movies.

If you live in a PAL country, render in 352x288 @ 25fps

If you live in an NTSC country, render in 352x240 @ 23,976fps

In an AVI format like Huffyuv (lossless compression).
