Same methods, different results

I have 2 standalone players: Sony DVP-NS 305 & Pioneer XV-DV 303. When I burn a DVDR disk(TRAXDATA only), two things happen: If the original DVD is smaller than 4.5GB, using DVD Decrypter to do the all process, both standalone plays the movie. If I have to encode main movie(CCE, ReMPEG2 or TMPG), the Pioneer standalone player doesn't play any of the movies, but Sony does. Both of the 2 ways I use for authoring(IfoEdit & DVD Maestro), are the same: Sony plays, Pioneer don't. Could need any help, please.

I have a Pioneer that does the same thing. I have to play around with the first play for it to play if I encode. Does fine on straight copy. It is very picky.
