I am unable to burn the Vivastar 1-2x for General Use Dvdr at 2x speed though they are certified for 2x speed. The Pioneer DVDRs can be burned sucessfully at 2x. Is that normal?
Furthermore the Media quality burned 1x is quite bad, on the beginnung of a burned low Bitarte DVD Movie my standalone Pioneer DVD Player gets a few read errors.
Does anybody have experiences with Vivastar and or Pioneer DVR-A03?

VIVASTAR are crap, keep away from them at all costs.

From my experience only the first gig is useable.

TraxData sells "1x-2x" media, made by Vivastar.

As you can read in the FAQ, Vivastar are not capable of 2x burning! I once got a bad batch, the first discs was not even recognised, the second was a power calibration error.

Vivastar is :scared:
